At Aristata Boekwinkels(Pty) Ltd we strive to provide our customers with the best possible shopping experience. We offer a straightforward return policy to ensure your peace of mind.
Returns
Please ensure that the correct books are ordered from our online store as Aristata Boekwinkels are not liable for incorrect orders.
You may return any item purchased from our online bookstore (aristata.co.za) within 7 days of dispatch if the product was:
- Faulty (Misprint/misbound)
- Damaged
- Incorrectly supplied
To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required for all returns.
Defective or Damaged Items
In the rare event that you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately. Upon receipt of the damaged or defective product, we will issue a replacement, a website voucher to the value plus 10%, or a full refund as per your preference and availability.
Return Process
To initiate a return following the guidelines above, please contact our customer service team at online@aristata.co.za to obtain a return authorization and instructions for the return process.
Orders not collected
Any orders not collected within 4 (four) months from date of notification to collect your order will be donated/pulped. This means that you will not qualify for a refund or partial refund if failing to collect within the specified time period.
Refused or Undeliverable Orders
Should a customer refuse to accept delivery or fail to take delivery of their order for any reason, they will be held liable for all shipping and handling costs incurred by us, regardless of the shipping amount stated on the online invoice. These costs include, but are not limited to, initial shipping, return shipping, and any applicable handling or restocking fees. We reserve the right to deduct these costs from any refunds issued.
